To create a Point-Cloud group

Use a Point-Cloud Group to contain and organize Point Cloud items in the inspection sequence.

Note: The Point Cloud Group option is available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.

To create a Point-Cloud Group:

1. Select the Definition level in the inspection sequence.
2. Click Home tab > Create panel > Group > Point-Cloud Group. The Point-Cloud Group dialog is displayed.
3. Edit the details of the group, and then click OK. PowerInspect creates the group and opens it.
4. Use the Point-Cloud tab > Items panel, to add the items to the group.
5. When you have finished adding the items to the group, click Up One Level to close the group and display the Definition level of the inspection sequence.
