The following options are displayed.
Shading
- Triangulation tolerance — Maximum distance, in millimetres, between the triangles used to shade the CAD model and the surfaces displayed when simulating an inspection.
A lower value produces smoother surfaces, but takes longer. A higher value produces coarser surfaces, but provides better performance.
- Surface colours from the CAD file — Display the CAD model using the originally specified colours.
Note: The model must be saved in DDX/DDZ file (.ddx;
.ddz) or DGK file (.dgk) format to use this option. Otherwise, the model is displayed in the default
PowerInspect colours.
- Default CAD shading — Shading mode in which CAD models are displayed when documents are opened.
- Restore state from file Open models with the shading mode of the last saved document. New documents are shown in
Show shaded and wireframe mode.
- Always shaded Display models in the Show Shaded and Wireframe mode.
- Always wireframe Display models in the Show Wireframe mode.
