Export Areabook Data

Learn how to export Areabook data into file formats for use outside of Revit.

1. Click Quantification tab Areabook Extension panel (Calculate Areas).
2. (Design Web Format export only) In the Calculate Areas dialog, under Generate Project Data, select Generate Project Data.
3. Under Export, specify:
   • Export Format. Either MS Excel, CSV, or Design Web Format (DWF/DWFx)
   • Export Type. (MS Excel and CSV only) Either LA (Living Area), NRA (Net Room Area), or GFA (Gross Floor Area)
   • Export Template. (MS Excel only) Select from the project standard specific Excel templates.
4. Click Calculate to create or update the project area calculation data.
5. Click Export.
6. If exporting to DWF, click File tab (Export (DWF/DWFx)) and export from the DWF Export Settings dialog.
