Add Areabook Data to Revit Schedules

Learn how to display Areabook data in Revit Schedules.

Add the Areabook specific tables to your project

  1. Click Insert tab Import panel Insert from File drop-down Insert Views from File.
  2. In the Open dialog, navigate to the Areabook Library.
  3. Select the schedule template for your project standard and language.
  4. Click Open.
  5. In the Insert Views dialog, select the schedules for your project.
  6. Click OK to import the selected schedules.
  7. Calculate areas and generate schedule data

  8. Click Quantification tab Areabook Extension panel (Calculate Areas).
  9. In the Calculate Areas dialog, under Generate Project Data, select Generate Project Data.

    This creates the Areabook IDs required for transferring the Areabook data to Revit schedules.

  10. Click Calculate to update the project area calculation data.
  11. Click OK to close the Calculate Areas dialog. The Areabook schedules now display calculated area data.
