Use the Family Table dialog box to edit the data for members of a part family. One row in the family table represents each family member, and each column represents one family property.
On the Content Center Editor dialog box, right-click a part family, and select Family Table from the menu.
Toolbar options:
Edits the family table data in Microsoft Excel.
Opens the Sort dialog box.Tip: To sort on a selected column, click the column header in the Family dialog box.
Creates a row at the position next to the selected row.
Deletes the selected row.
Adds a column at the position next to the selected column. You define properties for the new column in the Column Properties dialog box.
Deletes the selected column.Note: A column cannot be deleted if it is part of another column expression, is mapped to a category parameter, or is a Key Column.
Opens the Column Properties dialog box.
Opens the File Naming Options dialog box.
Opens the Key Columns Options dialog box.
Opens the Material Guide. Adds materials to the selected family members.
Columns context menu:
Hides the selected columns.
Displays the column which was hidden as the last.
Displays all hidden columns.
Adds a column at the position next to the selected column. You define properties for the new column in the Column Properties dialog box.
Deletes the selected column.Note: A column cannot be deleted if it is part of another column expression, is mapped to a category parameter, or is a Key Column.
Opens the Column Properties dialog box.
Rows context menu:
Adds the selected family member in the Favorites list.
Copies the selected rows to the clipboard.Tip: Paste the row content into newly added rows, over existing rows, or into Microsoft Excel.
Pastes the information from the clipboard into the selected rows. If no rows are selected, the paste begins at the row the context menu was invoked from.
Adds a new blank row at the position next to the selected row.
Inserts the copied row or rows in the family table. Available only if copies of one or more rows are in the clipboard, and one row in the table is selected.
Deletes the selected row.
Suppresses the selected rows. The corresponding part or feature family members is not displayed in the Content Center view
Unsuppresses the selected rows.
Unsuppresses all suppressed rows.
Opens the Material Guide. Adds materials to the selected family members.
