Number sequence

Number label formatting

Specifies parameters to use for the number value, as well as their order, prefix, suffix and separators.

Steps:
  1. From the drop-down, select the category from which to add parameters.
Note: If the filter used for the numbering template is selecting multiple categories, options in the drop-down menu include <Common> - parameters that are common to all categories, <All> - to show all parameters from all categories. For some element categories, this drop-down also shows associated categories (e.g., To Room, From Room for Doors).
  2. Select from the list of available parameters and click the right arrow to add to the label.
Note: The list shows all available parameters for the selected categories; it includes built-in or shared parameters, type and instance.
  3. To remove a parameter from the table, select it and click the left arrow.
  4. Use the up and down arrows to order the parameters for the label and set prefix, suffix, and separators as needed.
Note: Check the label preview field above the table. This represents a preview compiled using the Sample Values added in the table.
  5. Click OK to accept the changes and return to the Numbering options dialog.
