To Change a Clash Status

You can close or reopen clash results, or ignore them if they have been validated.

You can easily change the status of clash results to track the progress of clash resolution in your model. Clashes are typically completed by tracking from an active state (New, Open, and Ignored status) through to a complete state (Closed and Resolved). Closed status indicates that clashes are no longer under review, and resolved status indicates that a clash no longer exists. The status of individual clash results is displayed in the clash results window, with a summary in the Clashes Overview dialog.

A clash can be:

• Open. Includes reviewed and unreviewed clashes.
• Ignored. A clash has been disregarded.
• Closed. Clashes can be closed by project administrators.
• Resolved. The clash no longer exists.

1. Click Clashes and select a clash results set.
2. In the Clashes module, scroll to and select a clash result.
3. On the Clashes toolbar, click Ignore or Close.
4. Alternatively, click More Actions Overwrite Status To, then select one of the following statuses: Open, Ignored, or Close.
