Markups

When working in Document Management, sometimes you may need to provide more detail in a 2D document or 3D model than you can convey using an issue push pin and a description. In such situations, you can create “graphical” descriptions known as markups.

You can use markups to communicate project needs such as incorrect room dimensions, or the need to designate a small space in a complex office plan that is currently open but needs to be closed off to create an additional room. Markups can also be used to designate areas adjacent to a construction site where you want to dispatch a survey crew to collect additional topography.

The markup functionality offers a variety of tools, styling and editing capabilities, as well as status change options. This functionality allows you to create visually appealing markups that illustrate ideas that would be difficult to convey by other means, in a way that best fits your needs.
