You can view project folder and file attributes in File Explorer. Attributes display as column headings and values are populated where the information is available.

In addition to the default attributes, you can right-click on the column header and select extra attributes to display in your current folder.

Note: The following attributes are not yet supported in version 16.0 Desktop Connector:

Status Icons

The Status column attribute displays icons to show the status of files and folders.

There are different status icons between v16.x and v15.x of Desktop Connector as detailed in the tables shown.

Processing

Changes to the local file are updating.

 

Always keep on this device

The file or folder will automatically update with the latest file versions from the cloud if Always keep on this device is selected.

 

Downloaded

A version of the file is downloaded on demand. The file will automatically update when a new version is added to the cloud as Always keep on this device is not selected.

 

Online

The file has not been downloaded locally. The file will be downloaded on demand.

 

Locked by you

You've locked the file. Other members can open the file as read-only, however they can't modify its contents while it is locked.

 

Locked by another member

This file is locked by another project member. You can open the file as read-only, however you can't edit the content of the file while it is locked.

Processing

The local file has not been uploaded.

 

Synced

The local file is up-to-date with the file in the data source.

 

Online

The file has not been downloaded locally. The file will be downloaded on demand.

 

Conflict

Edits have been made to the file both locally and in the data source. Next time the file is read, the local file will be sent to recycle bin.

 

Stale

The local file is an older version than the version in the cloud (the file will be downloaded on demand).

 

Error

There was an error obtaining the local file Status value.

 

Nonconforming

The file name doesn't conform to the naming standard.

 

Locked

The file is locked by a project member.
