In CADmep, once the object annotation has been applied, it can be moved or rotated to suit individual drawing needs. This can be done using either AutoCAD grips or CADmep Move and Rotate tools.
Move Tool
To use the CADmep Move tool:
- Draw and annotate the objects. See
Object Annotation.
- Do one of the following:
- In the CADmep toolbar, click Move Object Text
.
- At the command line, type MOVETEXT, and press Enter.
- From the shift-right-click menu, click Move Object Text.
- Select the text to be moved.
- Click to select a new location.
The text should be moved to the new location.
Rotate Tool
To use the CADmep Rotate tool:
- Draw and annotate the objects. See
Object Annotation.
- Do one of the following:
- In the CADmep toolbar, click Rotate Object Text
.
- At the command line, type ROTATETEXT, and press Enter.
- From the shift-right-click menu, click Rotate Object Text.
- Select the text to be rotated.
- Specify the rotate by clicking and holding the mouse cursor, or by typing in a rotation angle.
The text should rotate based on the position of the cursor, or on the rotation angle specified. The text pivot is bottom left justified.
