A TSpline body.
| Name | Description |
| classType |
Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType(). |
| createForAssemblyContext |
Returns a proxy for the native object - i.e. a new object that represents this object but adds the assembly context defined by the input occurrence. |
| getTSMDescription |
Returns the T-Spline body as a string in the form of a TSM description. |
| saveAsTSMFile |
Saves the body as a TSM file. |
| transform |
Transforms the body using the transformation defined by the input matrix. This is effectively transforming all of the control frame vertices associated with this body. |
| Name | Description |
| assemblyContext | Returns the assembly occurrence (i.e. the occurrence) of this object in an assembly. This is only valid in the case where this is acting as a proxy in an assembly. Returns null in the case where the object is not in the context of an assembly but is already the native object. |
| boundingBox | Returns a bounding box that encompasses the T-Spline body. |
| bRepBody | Returns the associated BRepBody of this T-Spline, if one exists. If there isn't a B-Rep body this property will return null. The timeline must be rolled past the form feature containing this T-Spline for the BRepBody to be available. If the form feature is currently being edited, the timeline is automatically rolled back to the form feature and BRepBody will not exist. |
| displayMode | Gets and sets the display mode for this body. |
| edges | Returns all of the T-Spline edges in this body. |
| entityToken | Returns a token for the TSplineBody object. This can be saved and used at a later time with the Design.findEntityByToken method to get back the same T-Spline body. When using entity tokens it's important to understand that the token string returned for a specific entity can be different over time. However, even if you have two different token strings that were obtained from the same entity, when you use findEntityByToken they will both return the same entity. Because of that you should never compare entity tokens as a way to determine what the token represents. Instead, you need to use the findEntityByToken method to get the two entities identified by the tokens and then compare them. |
| faces | Returns all of the T-Spline faces in this body. |
| isLightBulbOn | Gets and sets if the light bulb of this body as displayed in the browser is on or off. A T-Spline body will only be visible if the light bulb is switched on. However, the light bulb can be on and the body still invisible if the light bulb for the Bodies folder is turned off. |
| isValid | Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference. |
| isVisible | Indicates if this body is visible in the graphics window. |
| name | Gets and sets the name of the body. If setting this property, there is a side effect that the B-Rep body created from this T-Spline body is also renamed. |
| nativeObject | The native object is the object outside the context of an assembly. Returns null in the case where this object is not in the context of an assembly but is already the native object. |
| objectType | This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object. It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType(): |
| parentFormFeature | Returns the owning form feature. |
| textureMapControl | Returns the TextureMapControl object associated with this body when there is an appearance assigned to the body that has a texture associated with it. If there isn't a texture, this property will return null. If there is a texture, you can use the returned object to query and modify how the texture is applied to the body. |
| vertices | Returns all of the T-Spline vertices in this body. |
