Run interference analysis on components in an additive build volume

  1. Ensure that you have an additive setup with an additive machine selected.

  2. On the Manufacture workspace toolbar, click Additive > Position > Interference Analysis interference analysis icon.

    The Interference dialog opens.

  3. In the Components group, define which additive parts to include in the check:

    • Click Select, then on the canvas, select the components you want to check. The analysis includes only the components you include in this selection.

    • Click Select All to include every component in the active setup.

  4. Click OK.

    Fusion runs the analysis. An Interference Analysis folder is added under Additive Analysis for your setup in the Browser. Each analysis node shows a warning icon when an interference is detected, or a green checkmark when there is no interference. Any interfering geometry is shown in orange on the canvas. A warning can appear when components overlap or when a component overlaps a no-build zone.
