Libraries in the Fusion Manufacture workspace are centralized repositories for storing and managing the resources you use in your manufacturing workflows. By organizing tools, machines, and other assets in libraries, you can standardize your setups, share configurations across projects, and work more efficiently.
The Manufacture workspace includes the following libraries:
The Tool Library stores cutting tools, holders, and tool assemblies. You can use predefined tools from the Fusion library or create and save your own. Organizing tools into libraries makes it easier to reuse them across setups and share them with your team. For more information, see Tool Library.
The Machine Library stores machine definitions that describe the physical and operational characteristics of your CNC machines and additive printers. Machine definitions help you optimize toolpaths for a specific machine, link post processors, and run accurate machine simulations. For more information, see Machines.
The Post Library stores post processors that convert manufacturing operations into NC code for your CNC machine. You can use the generic post processors from the Fusion library or manage your own in Cloud and Local library folders. For more information, see The Post Library.
The Template Library stores predefined manufacturing operations that you can reuse across setups. Templates help you apply consistent machining strategies without rebuilding operations from scratch. For more information, see The Template Library.
The Stock Material Library lets you create and manage stock materials used in your manufacturing workflows. Assigning a stock material to a Setup groups matching tool presets, making it easier to select appropriate tooling for the material you are machining. For more information, see Stock Material Library.
