The Deburr strategy is a finishing operation used to deburr external corners that are sharp or rounded. Deburring improves the aesthetics of a part, and its fit and assembly. It also reduces safety hazards when handling the part because the sharp edges get deburred.

You have the choice to create a chamfer or a fillet on the edges. Multiple Passes are required for filleting edges and for performing larger chamfers. You can perform deburring with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machining depending on your machine's capabilities.
