The Rotary Pocket strategy is a roughing operation that lets you clear large quantities on material on rotary parts.

You can clear material effectively using the Automatic Stepdown option, which adjusts stepdowns automatically so that they coincide with cylindrical surfacs. If you are using a tool such as a ball-nosed tool, you can use the Tool Offset option to avoid cutting with the center of the tool.
