The Turning Chamfer toolpath strategy chamfers sharp edges that have not been chamfered in the design and creates decorative or functional features on a part.
You can control the Chamfer Extension, Chamfer Width, and Chamfer Angle. The Chamfer Extension box enables you to define a distance to extend the toolpath past the chamfered edge to provide more clearance. Common chamfer angles include 45 degrees and 60 degrees.

To machine a deeper chamfer, you can specify Multiple Passes. When you turn a chamfer in multiple passes, the tool load is lower than in a single pass. Using multiple passes can help prolong tool's life, but may require a longer machining time.
