Edge symbol reference

In the Edge Symbol dialog, you can view or change edge symbols properties for the current drawing in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.

Behaviour

Direction

Select the edge symbol position:

• Vertical direction: Symbol defined in a vertical direction.
• Horizontal direction: Symbol defined in a horizontal direction.
• Direction undefined
• No values

Options

Specifies the general attributes of the symbol.

• All around: Adds the all-round indicator to the symbol.
• Show standard label: Adds the ISO 13715 reference to the symbol.

Defined Size

Limit

Type in the value or select it from the drop-down list.

Upper Limit (Direction undefined only)

Type in the value or select it from the drop-down list.

Lower Limit (Direction undefined only)

Type in the value or select it from the drop-down list.

Undefined Size

Edge Type

• Burr or Passing Permitted: Indicates that rough or raised edges must be removed.
• Undercut Required: Indicates that a slight recess or cut below the surface at the edge is needed.

Majority symbol

Places the symbol as a majority symbol. Choose between Full List and Simplified List in the Document Settings dialog.

Reset

Resets all properties to default values.
