Ways to access extensions

Recognizing that customers may require short- or long-term access to Fusion extensions, and have different preferences around payment methods, different options are available depending on the extension:

Note: If you subscribe to a Fusion offering, you may automatically get access to certain extensions. For example, if you subscribe to Fusion with FeatureCAM, access to the Fusion Manufacturing Extension is included.

Cost of extensions

The cost of extensions varies depending on the extension and the purchase option.

To understand the cost in tokens for Fusion extensions, refer to the Flex Rate Sheet. The number of tokens needed is also available in the Extension Manager.

When purchasing using a credit card, the charge is displayed during the purchasing process in your Internet browser.

24-hour access using tokens

Purchase using tokens when you want to use the capabilities in an extension on a short-term, occasional basis. You are not tied to any contract, so when access expires, you choose when to purchase it again. When you purchase access, the extension is added to your Autodesk Account as a service included with Fusion.

Note: Purchasing access using tokens is available only in Fusion Startup, Fusion Student, or Fusion Subscription. For Fusion Student, purchase access using tokens that are granted to your school.

Monthly or yearly access using a credit card

Purchase using a credit card when you want to use the capabilities in an extension regularly. By default, purchasing autorenews, monthly or yearly, to allow you uninterrupted access to the extension. When you purchase access, the extension is added to your Autodesk Account as a product, where you can then assign and manage multiple named users.

Note: Purchasing access using a credit card is available only in Fusion Startup or Fusion Subscription.
