Angular Global Load is the global load which, when applied, affects all the parts or bodies of the generative model. The load represents the acceleration forces that act on a mass experiencing angular acceleration, or that is rotating at a steady angular velocity. The force is proportional to the mass of the material. Importantly, the global load has no effect on materials with zero mass.
Access the command by selecting Angular Global Load in the Design Conditions panel of the Generative Design toolbar.
Use the angular global load to apply forces representing the following conditions:
Acceleration can be positive (speed increasing) or negative (speed decreasing). For an object that is both spinning and either accelerating or decelerating, apply the Angular Global Load consisting of both velocity and acceleration inputs. The resulting load produces both a radial and a tangential component of force on each element in the model.
