Apply an obstacle offset

  1. On the Define tab, click Design Space > Obstacle Offset obstacle offset icon.

    The Obstacle Offset dialog opens.

    Tip: You can also open the Obstacle Offset dialog from the browser, by mousing over the Obstacle Offset node and clicking browser edit icon.
  2. On the canvas, select an obstacle geometry body to assign the offset.

    You can select one or more bodies. Bodies with an obstacle offset applied are not available for selection.

  3. Specify a distance by which to offset the obstacle geometry body.

    Distance must be a positive value.

  4. Click OK.

    The increased size of the obstacle body displays in red on the canvas and is semitransparent.

Tip: To modify, in the browser, expand the Obstacle Offset node and mouse over an offset to edit, and then click browser edit icon. The icon is only available for the active study.
