Display a starting shape on an outcome

On the Explore tab, click Display > Thumbnail View , and click a thumbnail.

The Outcome View opens.

Tip: You can also access the Outcome View from other Explore views.
In the Outcome View, click Show > Starting Shape View .

The starting shape displays in yellow on the canvas and it’s semi-transparent.

Note: You can display preserve geometries, obstacle geometries, and the starting shape simultaneously. The Starting Shape View icon is available on the Show panel only if you used the starting shape in your generative study.
To examine the outcome details, orbit, pan, and zoom the outcome using tools on the Outcome View toolbar.
