Work with a design created from an outcome in several ways. For example, you can edit, validate, share, and export it to CAD formats.
Action | Details | Available for |
---|---|---|
Edit | Edit a design using T-Spline tools and modeling tools. To access the Form contextual environment tools, from the Design workspace, Solid tab, select Create Form on the Create panel. They let you, for example, smoothen areas or remove holes. | Designs |
Validate | Create a static stress study in the Simulation workspace from the generative study setup and solve it. This way you can determine stress, strain, displacement, and safety factor resulting from the applied loads. The simulation study has the same load case attributes as the generative study. It applies material from the selected outcome. | Designs |
Use as a Starting Shape | Use a design as a starting shape to optimize this design or influence the shape of a new design. | Design |
Share | Share your designs with people outside the project. | Designs, Mesh designs |
Export to CAD | From the Application bar select File > Export. You can export designs to these CAD formats:
