Project Administrators can do the following to manage legacy project members:
Membership in legacy projects may be subject to Project Administrator or Team Administrator approvals. Outcomes of invites to Open, Closed, and Secret projects depend on hub and project settings.
Although, the procedure to invite people to legacy projects is standard across different types of projects, the outcomes of an invite depend on the following factors:
From the Fusion Data Panel:
To invite other people to a legacy project, in the upper part of the Data Panel click the People tab.
Enter an email address of another Fusion user who you would like to have access. Once added, the user will receive an email notifying him or her of their addition.
Click Invite.
A list of people invited to a legacy project is displayed in the Data Panel. The moderator of the legacy project (the person who originally created the project) is marked with a green start icon, and a "Moderator" title.
From the Fusion web client:
Open a legacy project in the Fusion web client.
Click the Project Members tab.
Click Invite
Enter email address(es).
Select the Role for the invitee(s).
Click Send Invitations.
The invitee will receive an email to accept. After they accept, the project will appear in their Data Panel in Fusion.
Invited members can also invite other people to work on a legacy project, the moderator must give an approval to the invited people. While inviting people to a legacy project, project members can specify a role for invitees. Invitees can be assigned the same or lower role as the legacy project member.
Example: A legacy project member who is an editor can invite users as editors or viewers.
Everyone in a legacy project is a project member.
A legacy project member's role is unique to each project. For example, a user can be a Viewer in one legacy project and an Editor in another legacy project.
There are three roles available within legacy projects:
The person who created a legacy project is the owner of the project and the default Project Administrator. They cannot leave the project.
Team Administrators can assign a Project Administrator role to a Team Member within a legacy project or to any member. They can also change a legacy project member's role to Editor or Viewer.
If a project owner and sole Project Administrator of a legacy project leaves the organization, the Team Administrator must assign a Project Administrator for the project.
Change a Team Member's legacy project role using the Fusion web client:
Team Members can request to join Closed projects. Requests are shown in Alerts as well as the Project Members area.

Open the legacy project.
In the Project Members area, click the pending approval notification.
Click Join Requests.
Click Approve or Reject.
