When working in a hub that you administrate, you can invite and manage members. This is all done using the Fusion web client in the Members And Roles tab.
In the upper right corner of the Fusion web client, click your profile .
Click Admin > Members And Roles to see the list of hub members.
In the Members And Roles tab, click Invite.
Enter the e-mail addresses of the people you want to invite.
Use a comma to separate the e-mail addresses.
Click Invite to send the invitations.
Invited users will receive an email inviting them to sign up in the hub. Invitations are displayed in Sent Invitations with a status of Pre-approved. From here, you can withdraw or resend invitations.
By default, when people accept your invitations and join your hub, they do not have permission to create projects. Enable project creation as follows.
In the Members And Roles tab, in the Folder-Level Project Creator column, select whom you want to be able to create projects.
In the Members And Roles tab, in the Role column, click the role button for the user you want to change.
Select the new role.
Hub administrators can change a hub member's role in the following ways:
Role | Can be changed to | ||
---|---|---|---|
Project Contributor | Team Member | Team Administrator | |
Project Contributor | (Not applicable) | ![]() |
No |
Team Member | ![]() |
(Not applicable) | ![]() |
Team Administrator | No | ![]() |
(Not applicable) |
In some cases, you may also want to change the hub member's role for specific projects. See Manage people in projects.
As a hub administrator, you can resend invitations to remind invited users who have not yet accepted, or withdraw those invitations.
If someone tries to accept an invitation after you withdraw it, they will get an error message and will not be able to accept.
As a hub administrator, you can deactivate and activate members of the hub.
In the Members And Roles tab, expand the row of the member you want to change.
Click Deactivate or Activate.
When you activate a member, the member is restored to the same role prior to deactivation. Access to projects continues as before.
