Add non-standard sizes

Add non-standard fastener sizes in Fusion.

1. On the Design workspace toolbar, click Solid > Insert > Insert Fastener .

   The Insert Fastener dialog displays.

2. In the dialog, browse to a fastener family and select the fastener you need.

3. Hover over the Nominal Size value to bring up the More menu.

4. Click the More menu .

5. Click Add Size.

6. Fill in the values to create a unique fastener.

7. Click Save to Hub Library .

8. Hover over the Nominal Length value to bring up the More menu.

9. Click the More menu .

10. Click Add Length.

11. Fill in the values to create a unique fastener.

12. Click Save to Hub Library .

13. Click OK.

The new value is added as a non-standard size and the fastener is inserted using that size.

Tip

• You can also find Add Size at the very bottom of the Nominal Size drop-down list.
• You can also find Add Length at the very bottom of the Nominal Length drop-down list.
