Tutorials: Dynamic Event Simulation

These tutorials demonstrate real-world examples that are suited to event simulation analysis. Using the provided CAD models, familiarize yourself with the simulation tools and general workflow habits.

Model datasets

Each tutorial shows you how to locate and open the required dataset. You cannot modify the source files; they are read-only. You create and work with a personal copy of each tutorial dataset.

Tutorials organization

	Stresses in a SnapFit connector In this tutorial, you examine the stresses experienced by a snapfit connector, as it is pushed into its stationary counterpart until the two connect together. You set up appropriate constraints and loads to ensure the right parts move in the right ways.
	Rolling sheet metal In this tutorial, you model the rolling of a steel plate to reduce its thickness by 25%, using a nonlinear material. To reduce the analysis time, the model provided is only a slice of real metal sheet. In addition, you artificially speed up the rolling machine, and edit the contact definitions to suppress unnecessary contact pairs.
