In Fusion, loads, including gravity, and constraints are stored together in a Load Case, which appears as a node in the Browser. A Load Case is a set of constraints and loads that are applied to a simulation model. Active or suppressed components, study materials, contacts, critical temperatures, and mesh settings are listed outside of the load cases.
The Load Case Attributes dialog, which is accessed from either the Browser or the ribbon, shows all the loads and constraints, their location, magnitude and direction, all in one place. Icons and text in the Status column indicate whether or not the load or constraint is positioned correctly:
indicates that load or constraint is positioned correctly.
indicates that the load or constraint needs to be positioned in the model.
In most study types, each study has a single load case associated with it; to evaluate different loads and constraints you create a new study. In some studies you can create multiple load cases within a single study for evaluation. Studies that support multiple Load Cases include:
