What's New in this Version

This page describes the new feature improvements for InfoDrainage™ version 2026.4.

Please note that this new version also includes various bug fixes that are described in detail in the Release Notes.

InfoDrainage is now available through Autodesk channels - please see the Installation Guide for more details on which version you are accessing.

Civil 3D® pipe and structure styles preserved on import

Styles assigned within Civil 3D are now maintained when imported into InfoDrainage, reducing the amount of manual restyling needed after import and helping to keep roundtrip networks visually consistent.

Roundtripping of new Civil 3D catchment runoff methods

Civil 3D now offers an extended set of catchment runoff methods. InfoDrainage 2026.4 supports full roundtripping of all these methods, so users can pass catchments between both products with the selected runoff approach and data intact. This feature is available when roundtripping catchments in Civil 3D 2026.2 or newer versions.

New inlet destinations for bioretention and swales

InfoDrainage 2026.4 allows users to specify the destination of inlets into swales (with trenches enabled) and bioretention SWCs.

The selected layer influences the hydraulic behaviour of the component, enabling a more accurate representation of how inflows move through the system.

Preference for automatic land use and soil type recalculation

A new preferences setting allows users switch automatic recalculation of land use and soil type for inflows on or off, overriding even manually input values. This offers more control during catchment editing and prevents unintended updates during iterative design.
