Insert an edge loop with the Multi-Cut Tool

To insert an edge loop with the Multi-Cut Tool

  1. Open the Multi-Cut Tool.
  2. (Optional) Turn on object, world, or topological symmetry to make edits to both sides of your mesh. See Activate or deactivate symmetry.
  3. Ctrl-drag or Ctrl + Shift-drag your cursor across the mesh to preview your edge loop.
  4. Do one of the following to insert an edge loop:
    • Ctrl-click to insert an edge loop anywhere on the mesh.
    • Ctrl + middle-click to insert a centred edge loop.
    • Ctrl + Shift-click to insert an edge loop that snaps according to the Snap Step % increment, as explained in Multi-Cut Tool Options.
