Remove an Attachment

Before you start:

• Once a file is deleted, you cannot recover it.
• You must have permission to delete an attached file.
• You cannot delete a file that is checked out.
• All archived versions of the file are deleted.
• When you delete the last file stored in a folder, the folder is deleted as well.

To remove an attachment from an item:

1. On the attachments tab, select the files to remove from the item.
2. Click ... then Remove.

The files are no longer attached to the item.
