    To Archive a File

    1. Choose File > Archive.
    2. Enter a name for the archive in the File Name field and click Save.

The archive file will be saved in the specified location. The archive program used to create it is specified in the Files tab of the Preferences dialog. The default application is the MaxZip utility.

The archive file contains the scene file and any other files referenced by it, such as textures, containers, XRef objects, XRef scenes, and so on.
