Modeling Buildings Using Modifiers

In this tutorial, you will model a building with a distinctly organic design. Specially developed modifiers in 3ds Max make this task far easier than if you were to attempt it in a conventional CAD program.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

  • Create simple geometry.
  • Use the Twist, Taper, and FFD modifiers to alter geometry.
  • Use polygon selection and editing techniques.
  • Clone objects.
  • Chamfer edges.
  • Assign materials to objects.
