Known Issues

  • The NavPack Design uninstaller does not check if Alias is running, allowing uninstall while Alias is active. This can leave the plug-in partially installed and cause Alias to crash on restart.

    Workaround: Close Alias before running the NavPack Design uninstaller.

  • Alias crashes when switching between different .container files in NavPack Design after the original container file is deleted externally.

  • Meshes created from a subdivision surfaces, such as from the Subdiv to Mesh tool, with a Level value of 6 can cause the prediction time to run indefinitely, leaving Alias unresponsive.

    Workaround: Use subdivision models with a Level 5 or lower when creating meshes for NavPack Design.

  • After reopening the NavPack Design tool, the Confidence output value remains displayed while other output values reset.
