- At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
- In the Options dialog box, click the AM:Standards tab.
- In the Standard Elements list, double-click Annotation View. The Annotation View Settings dialog box appears.
- Edit the formula that defines the default label.
- To add a valid reference:
- In the Pattern box, click where you want to insert the reference.
- Click
. A list of references appears.
- Select the reference from the list.
- To delete a reference:
- In the Pattern box, select the reference. Ensure that you include the characters ᾿lt;᾿and ᾿gt;᾿(which wrap the reference) in the selection.
- Press DEL.
- To add plain text:
- In the Pattern box, click where you want to insert the text.
- Enter the text
- To add a valid reference:
- In the Position box, select where to display the label.
- To change the default label text height and color:
- In the Height list in the Text section, select the text height.
- In the Color list, select the color for the text.
- Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
