To Configure the Default Names of Mechanical Structure Entities (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
In the Options dialog box, select the AM:Structure tab.
To set the default name of components:
- In the Component box, type a name to be used as the default prefix for component names.
To set the default name of folders:
- In the Folder box, type a name to be used as the default prefix for folder names.
To set the default name of annotation views:
- In the Annotation View box, type a name to be used as the default suffix for annotation view names.
To set the default names of component views:
1. If the name you want to set is not available in the component names list, in the Component Views frame, click Add. The Add view name dialog box appears.
2. In the Enter new view name box, type a name and click OK.
3. If any of the views in the list are redundant, select the view and click Remove.
4. Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to reposition the views in the order you are most likely to use them during a drawing session.
