To Insert a Text String Directly From a Multi Language Dictionary File (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

By inserting a text string directly from a multi language dictionary (.mld) file, you are assured that the strings that you insert can be automatically translated.

  1. Click Annotate tabText panel drop-downText from Language Converter. Find
  2. In the Files to search drop-down list box, select the multi language text file you want to insert text from. If the multi language dictionary is not listed:
    1. Click Additional.
    2. Locate the multi language dictionary file (usually located in the ACADM\Translator folder, under the folder in which AutoCAD Mechanical toolset is installed) and click Open.
  3. Use any of the drop-down list boxes under Messages and select the message you want to insert.
  4. Click Insert Texts.
  5. In model space, click to indicate the insertion point.
  6. To accept the default text height, press Enter. To specify a different text height, At the Command prompt, type the new height and press Enter.
  7. To accept the default rotation, press Enter. To specify a different rotation, At the Command prompt, type the rotation angle and press Enter. The text is inserted.
