Issue Permissions

Issue permissions affect how certain members can interact with issues on a project.

Project administrators can manage issue permission levels at the user, role, and company level.

Issues Permission Levels

Use the drop-down to select the desired permission set for the selected members, roles, or companies.

Here is a quick summary of how the four permission levels can be used:

  • View All: Members can view all issues. They can edit and close issues they own or created.
  • Create: Members can create issues. They can only view issues created by themselves, their company or those assigned to their company/role. They can edit issues they own or created. They can only close or void issues as issue owners or creators.
  • View and Create: Members can view all issues and create issues in a project. They can only edit issues they own or created, or the issues that are assigned to their company/role. They can close or void issues that they own or created, but cannot close or void issues that they did not create.
  • Full Control: Members can view, create, and edit all issues in a project.
