FAQ

Question 1: Why can't I see my issues or clashes on a view I created using the model property filters?

Answer 1: Issues and clashes associated with elements that have been excluded from a view using the model property filters are not displayed when working with that view.

Question 2: Why is there a preselected view when I navigate around the options on the panel in the viewer?

Answer 2: When you save or update a view in the viewer, that view is preselected when navigating to any other options in the viewer.

Known issues

The following are known issues that you may encounter when working with views. These are being addressed by the development team.

  • If you add models to a view when filters have already been selected, the filters won't be applied to the newly added models.
  • If you reset the model and clear any filters when using the Issues panel, the issues themselves remain filtered. You may need to switch panels to unfilter the issues.
  • A small number of customers may experience issues related to the migration of existing projects to use the new model property filters:
    • Model filters not available
    • Permission errors
    • Inability to create or edit views
