Bulk Actions for Submittals
This page explains how to perform bulk actions on multiple submittal items to improve efficiency. It covers:
- Understanding bulk actions
- Editing fields across multiple submittals
- Adding and removing submittals from packages
- Changing status for multiple submittals
Bulk actions allow you to select multiple submittal items and perform the same action on all of them at once. This saves time compared to editing items one by one.
To perform bulk actions:
- Select multiple submittal items using the checkboxes. This will display the bulk actions drop-down menu.
- Choose an action from the drop-down menu.
- Confirm the action.

Apply Numbering
Apply numbering to multiple unnumbered submittal items by choosing a starting number. The assigned numbers will follow in sequence from the chosen starting point, adjusting as necessary to align with project numbering settings and to avoid conflicts with existing numbers.
Example: If starting number 7 is selected and 8 is already taken, the sequence will be 7, 9, 10, and so on.
To learn more about numbering, see Submittal Custom Numbering.
