Convert a Trial to a Subscription Account
If you originally started a trial of Autodesk BIM Collaborate, BIM Collaborate Pro, Build, or Takeoff and have recently purchased a subscription to one or more of these offerings, you must convert a team and account to work on your previously created projects.
To convert your trial:
After your purchase, you will be directed to Autodesk Accounts. From there you can start your registration in two ways:
- From the Home Page, click your recently purchased product and select Access.
- From Products and Services, select your recently purchased product and select Access.
If you are the administrator of only one team and have one trial, the conversion process is automatic and you are taken to your activated account. If you are an administrator of multiple teams, select the team you would like to activate.
If you have multiple trials, select the trial account that you would like to convert or create an account to discard your trial projects and members.
Converted Account FAQs
Question 1: What happens to my trial projects?
Answer 1: All projects created within your account will be converted automatically, except the sample project.
Question 2: What happens if I only have one team and one account?
Answer 2: Your Trial account and its projects are converted automatically.
Question 3: I do not see my trial account in the list, why?
Answer 3A: You may not be an administrator on the trial account you are trying to convert, ask another administrator to verify you are an administrator on the account.
Answer 3B: Your trial has been expired for more than 30 days and can't be converted any longer.
Question 4: The trial that got converted is not the right one, what do I do?
Answer 4: If the wrong trial was converted reach out to technical support.
