Edit Asset Details on Mobile

You can edit assets details in the Autodesk Construction Cloud app to keep your assets up to date in the field.

  1. Select the asset you want to modify from the Assets list screen.

Tip: If you are using barcodes, QR codes, or NFC tags with your assets, you can scan those to open an asset's details.
  2. Tap on the field you'd like to modify, and make the desired changes. The changes you made will be synced to the project.

Add References to Assets (Mobile)

  1. Open an asset in the Assets tool.

  2. Switch to the References tab.

  3. Tap next to the type of reference that you want to add.

You can add the following types of references:

    • Files: Add existing project files. See Organize Files with Folders and subsequent topics for more information about working with the Files tool on the web.

    • Forms: Create a form from a preconfigured template or add an existing form. See Create, Fill Out, and Submit Forms for details.

    • Issues: Create an issue or add an existing one. See About Issues for details.

    • Photos and Videos: Take a new photo or video, upload an existing photo or video from your device or from project Photos and Videos. See Photos on Android and Photos on iOS for details.

    • RFIs: Create an RFI or add an existing one. See RFI Overview and subsequent topics for details on the RFI tool.

    • Sheets: Upload sheets that were previously added to the Sheets tool or published to the project. See Add Sheets and Publish to the Field for details.

Note: On iOS, if an asset is added as a reference to submittals or schedule activities or is linked to markups on sheets, those references can be viewed in the References tab.
