Edit Sheet Details after Publication

All published sheets will display their current version in the sheets list. Members with Edit permission or above can edit sheet details depending on whether they've select individual or multiple sheets.

Access Sheet Editing

  1. Select the relevant sheet or sheets.

  2. Click Edit.

You can now edit the following sheet details:

  • Individual sheets: Edit the sheet number, title, version set, and tags.

  • Multiple sheets: Edit the version set and tags only for all selected sheets.

Edit Sheet Number After Publication

You can only edit the sheet number for individually selected sheets. Click the Number field and edit the sheet number.

The following table details the effect of editing sheet numbers:

Scenario Effect
The edited sheet number doesn’t exist in any version set A new sheet is created from the selected version and added to the current sheet version set.

The automatic callout links which used to link to that sheet will now link to the previous version. If there is no previous sheet version, the automatic callout links will no longer work even though their markups still displays.
The edited sheet number already exists in the selected version set It's not possible to edit the sheet number as there can only be one version of a sheet in each version set.
The edited sheet number already exists in a different version set The sheet becomes another version of a sheet that already exists. The version will rank according to the issuance date of its version set. You can view the version of that sheet by either opening the sheet and selecting the dropdown or using the version set filter.

Edit Sheet Title After Publication

You can only edit the sheet number for individually selected sheets.

Click the Title field and enter your edited sheet title.

Change Version Set After Sheet Publication

You can edit the version set for individual or multiple sheets.

  1. Click the Version set field.

  2. Select a version set from the dropdown list. You can also start entering the name of a version set to bring up suggestions.

Autocallout links always point to the current sheet version. Changing the version set of means the autocallout links will no longer work if the version set is no longer the latest version.

Add and Remove Sheet Tags After Publication

You can add and remove tags for individual or multiple sheets.

  • Remove: Click X next to the relevant tag to remove it.

  • Add: Click the Tag field and select tags to add them to the sheet. You can also start entering the name of a tag to bring up suggestions.

  • Create: Click the Tag field, enter the text of your new tag and press enter or click Create option.

    After you've made your changes to sheet details, click Save.
