About Photos
The Photos tool is the single unified place to view and manage photos and videos in your project. You can use photos for everything from documenting progress to informal communication and material tracking.
Forma Build is launching a new experience for the Photos tool on March 24, 2026 with many new features including albums to help organize and structure your project photos. The following table details project access for the new experience.

** The Autodesk Forma mobile app version 7.73 has the following improvements for the old photos experience:
Camera
- Flashlight option added in Photo mode
- Updated video flash behavior:
- Flash turns on when recording starts
- Flash turns off when recording stops or is manually toggled off
- Repositioned front/back camera toggle button
- Repositioned captured photos button
- Improved placement of torch and flashlight icons
Review screen
Added a Select all option in selection mode
Updated the app bar title to clearly indicate when selection mode is active
Updated the Delete confirmation dialog with red delete text to emphasize destructive actions
These improvements will not be available in the new Photos experience in Autodesk Forma mobile app app versions 7.73 or 7.74. Availability in the new experience is expected in the near future.
