View Version History
When you upload a file with the same name and extension as an existing file in the folder, a new version is automatically created.
The files list always shows the version number of the current file version in a badge in the Version column.
This version number may not be the same as the total number of versions for the file. For example, a file might have 4 versions but the version number displays as V2. This is because you can promote a previous version to be the current version and this current version will retain the version number of the promoted version.
Permission Required to View Version History
You need View only permission or above to view a file's version history.
