Scale or rotate a traverse about the point of beginning.
To change the scale or rotation angle of a traverse, select the Scale And Rotate Output check box. The traverse will be scaled and/or rotated by the parameters you specify, using the point of beginning as the base point.
- Scale Factor—Specifies the factor by which to scale the traverse.
- Direction 1—Specifies the baseline direction of the rotation. You may either enter a value or click
to specify the angle. - Direction 2—Specifies the secondary direction of the rotation. You may either enter a value or click to specify the angle.
- Rotation Angle—Specifies the rotation angle. Note: If directions were used to specify the rotation, then the Rotation Angle cell is automatically populated with the difference between Direction 1 and Direction 2.
