Use this page to specify creation information for the surface.
- Name

Specifies the name of the surface.
Note: To name the surface, click its default name and enter a new name, or click
and use the name template. For more information, see
Name Template Dialog Box.
- Description
-
Specifies an optional description of the surface.
- Style
-
Specifies the surface style. Click the arrow and select a surface style, or use the style selection options to create a new style, copy or edit the current style selection, or select a style from the drawing.
Click
to open the
Style Detail dialog box, where you can preview the style and view information about the style.
- Render Material

Specifies the render material. Click
to select a render material.
- Layer

Displays the layer on which the surface will be created. Click
to open the
Object Layer dialog box where you can select a different layer for the surface.
