Access Autodesk Assistant in ACC

Note: Autodesk Assistant in ACC is available to customers with Enterprise Business Agreements (EBA) and Account Unlimited Agreements.

To open Autodesk Assistant, click the Autodesk Assistant icon at the top right of any page in an Autodesk Construction Cloud product.

If this is your first time accessing Autodesk Assistant, you will receive a notification that project documents are being processed. Once processing is complete, the assistant can access and use the data to answer queries. Depending on the size and number of documents in your project, processing can take from a few minutes to an hour.

Note:

While Autodesk Assistant is processing, you can close the panel and work on other things. Once document processing is complete, you can use Autodesk Assistant.

By default, Autodesk Assistant opens as a free-floating panel. Use the three-dot More menu on the upper right of the panel to find controls to dock the panel to the right of the page or to resize the panel.

Panel Options

Using the dropdown at the top of the panel, you can select from a few options.

  • Specifications – Ask questions about your project specifications. Available to all customers with Enterprise Business Agreements (EBA) and Account Unlimited Agreements

  • Project Data (BETA) – Ask questions about your project data, including data from your specifications, issues, schedules, RFIs, change orders, and submittals.

    Note:

Currently, Project Data for Autodesk Assistant is available in beta only to project administrators in select subscriptions only. If you have access to the beta, you will see the Project Data option listed in the dropdown. For more information about beta features, contact your account representative.

  • Prompt Library - Access suggested and saved prompts to use when making a query.

  • Chat History - View the history of your Autodesk Assistant queries and responses.
