Autodesk Validation Tool

The Autodesk Validation Tool for Docs (AVT) enables you to analyze your Revit models for best practices, project standards or digital delivery requirements. AVT is an extension of the Autodesk Model Checker for Revit from the Interoperability Tools. AVT uses the Autodesk Platform Services Design Automation Service for Autodesk Revit and runs as a pay-per-result service to check Autodesk Revit models in the Autodesk Docs Files tool.

With AVT, you can:

  • Analyze Revit models for best practices with any of our preformatted checksets or a custom checkset
  • Analyze Revit models for digital deliverable standards such as asset data or naming conventions
  • Use any of the preformatted checksets Autodesk provides
  • Create MS Excel based reports that are dashboard ready

AVT is currently only available to Autodesk customers with access to TokenFlex (TFlex). If your organization uses TokenFlex, contact your Autodesk Account Representative to get access to AVT.

See the Autodesk Validation Tool help site for full details on how to set up and use AVT.
