Saved Searches
Setting up a search requires adding search terms, selecting folders, choosing whether to search content, and adding filters based on attributes.
Members can save searches they run regularly to avoid setting them up from scratch every time and access them quickly from a designated Saved searches tab.
Once a search is saved, project administrators can also shared that search with other project members.
Save a Search
Enter your search terms, folders, and filter options. See Search and Filter Files for more information.
Click Save search.
Note: You can save a maximum of 100 searches.Your search criteria are displayed along with other options which you can edit as required.
Search name: Edit the search name with a maximum of 255 characters as required. The default name contains the selected search filters followed by the search keyword.
Search and filter settings: Click the cog icon
to access the attributes which can be potentially searched and added as filters.
You can select the following folder options:
Option Description Original search folder Searches the same folder selected when the search was saved. Click Select to change this folder. Current folder Searches the folder you are in when you run the search. Include subfolders Select this checkbox to include subfolders of the Original search folder or Current folder. Selected folders Searches specific folders you've selected. Click Select to change these folders. All folders Searches all folders you can access in the project. Click Select to search specific folders instead. Content: Click this checkbox to also search content of vector PDFs for the search keyword.
Search keyword: Enter the keywords that you want to search.
The attributes you added as filters in the search panel will display below the Search keyword field. Click + to add more filters to your search.
Edit the options as required.
Click Save.
Saved Searches Tab
The Saved searches tab is split between Private searches and Shared searches.
Private Searches
Your saved searches will display by search name in the Private section of the Saved searches tab. Private saved searches are personal to you and can't be viewed by other project members.
Project members can edit, duplicate, and delete a private saved search.
Click the More menu next to a saved search to view the following menu items:
Project administrators can also share their saved searches with other project members.
Edit a private search
You may need to revise the search and filter criteria of a saved search if they've changed or no longer return the results you require. You can edit a saved search by accessing the previously saved search criteria and editing the options.
Click Edit.
Edit the options as required.
Click Save.
Duplicate a private search
You can duplicate a saved search if, for example, you want to run a similar search with a few revisions and you don't want to set up the search from scratch.
Click Duplicate
The original search name will be appended with .1.
Edit the search name and options as required.
Click Save.
The duplicated search will be added to the Private section of your Saved searches tab.
Delete a private search
Deletes the saved search and removes it completely from your Saved searches tab. This does not affect any files and folders in the search results.
Shared Searches
Project members will see saved searches which are shared with them by project administrators in the Shared searches section.
Project administrators will see the saved searches they've shared with other members, and saved searches which they've received from other project administrators.

Sort saved searches
You can sort the order of your saved searches.
Click the following to sort saved searches by:
View saved search details
Hover over the information icon of a saved search to see the full search and filter details.
- Folder: Details which whether all folders, current folder, original search folder, or selected folders will be searched.
- Content search: Displays Yes if the content of vector PDFs will be searched with the search keyword.
- Keyword: Details the search keyword.
- Filter: Details the search filters and values selected for the search.
