Revit Cloud Worksharing

Revit Cloud Worksharing allows you to collaborate on Revit models in the cloud. You can co-author cloud models, centralize all project design data, and improve communication and collaboration across the entire team. Access the Revit Cloud Worksharing section of the help to learn more.

Provide Access to Revit Cloud Worksharing

To collaborate on Revit models in the cloud using Revit Cloud Worksharing, each user must be given access to Revit Cloud Worksharing.

To provide access to Revit Cloud Worksharing:

Add Users

1. Navigate to manage.afg.us.autodesk.com.

2. Enter your email address and click Next.

3. Enter your password and click Sign In.

4. Click By User under User Management on the left.

   Important: If you see a screen titled "Classic User Management", see Assign Products and Services to Users in the Classic View for a step-by-step example in the Classic User Management view. Otherwise, continue with the next step.

5. In the top-right, click + Add users and enter the email address, first name, and last name for the user. Separate multiple users with a semicolon.

6. Click Send invite.

Provide Users Access to Revit Cloud Worksharing

There are two ways to provide individual users access to products. If you are providing access for an individual user, it is easiest to add By User. If you are providing access for multiple users, it is easiest to add By Product.

By user

1. Click By User under User Management on the left. If you previously added users, you'll be on this screen already.
2. Click a user you'd like to provide access for.
3. In the list of Products and cloud services, expand BIM Collaborate Pro for Government and select the Assign checkbox for Revit Cloud Worksharing.
4. Click Save.

After you click Save, an email is sent to the user informing them of their access level change.

By product

1. Click By Product under User Management on the left.
2. Click a product you'd like to provide access to.
3. Click Assign users.
4. Click into the text field and then select the users to provide access to from the list.
5. Click Assign.

After users have been provided access, they can individually verify that they have access to Revit Cloud Worksharing. To do so:

1. Navigate to manage.afg.us.autodesk.com.
2. Enter your email address and click Next.
3. Enter your password and click Sign In.
4. Click All products and services on the left.
5. Scroll through the list of products and verify you have Revit Cloud Worksharing. You should also verify that you have BIM Collaborate Pro for Government.
